Well, this feels almost surreal that we as a group and as a class are done for the semester. Reflecting back on the semester and this class, I feel good about the progress that was made. I am proud of personal progress I made, as well as the progress my entire group made as well. I really learned quite a bit from this class, and will take it with me into next semester and throughout the rest of my time here at UNL. I think I really lucked out with the team members I got. Everyone was so helpful and always open with each other about any problem we might have came across when completing this project. As for me, I mainly focused on two parts of the project which was the written portion and photo portion. I did not do all of the writing on the actual website, but I did write quite a bit for our preliminary content that helped Stef finish off writing what was actually put on the website. I also took some photos myself that were used on the website. I was also an active interviewee for this project, and I also interviewed one subject as well. I can say and will more than likely always say — I am not good at video or video editing. I did capture some of the clips that were seen on the website, but I know they were not perfect. Video production is something I definitely need to work on personally. As for the writing and photos, I thought they were okay. As I have said in previous posts, I know things could have been better, but the current situation we got put into was by no means ideal and I tried to work my best around it. Overall, I think this project was good for our first time of actually doing something like this and to this big of an extent.
