Week 5 Blog – Eltiste

In order to capture good quality media for our project, we plan to use multiple types of media and different techniques for capturing these parts of the project well. We plan to use media that is familiar to us such as our iPhones. By using our iPhones, we are going to be able to capture good quality photo and video for the project. In order for our photos to be the best quality, we will make sure to use flash when needed, take shots in the day and where natural light is available. It will also be crucial for us to take multiple shots so we have options to pick from when necessary. When videoing on our iPhones, we will be sure to use an Osmo for stability and support for the highest quality video. We also plan to use DSLR cameras and JVC video cameras for professional shots and good quality interview footage. A checklist would have items such as camera/video camera, SD card, tripod, extra lighting (if necessary), etc. In class this week, we worked on and completed our project schedule for the rest of the semester. I created and labeled the entire spreadsheet to keep us on track with our goals and deadlines. We had no challenges/difficulties this week.
